Members of the URN News Team under my tenure celebrating the win of 'Team of the Year' at the National Amplify Awards 2023.
For the 2022-23 academic year, I served as the News Editor at University Radio Nottingham (URN).

I oversaw the news programme 'The Pulse', which broadcast every weekday 5pm-6pm. I re-introduced news bulletins across the rest of the broadcasting day, introduced reporting, voxes, and expanded the breadth and quality of our content.

We smashed the 2023 Student Radio Awards, with the team picking up both 'Gold' and 'Silver' for Best Journalistic Programming... for two shows I was heavily involved with.

Our sexual health and relationships podcast URNgasm won 'Gold', which I co-created and co-presented (you can find a dedicated page on my website here). The aforementioned The Pulse won 'Silver'.

The team also won 'Gold' for 'Team of the Year', with it increasing from a size of roughly three up to thirty-seven during my tenure.

I only featured in episode one, but helped to set up the podcast. It has since been handed over to Scarlett Pontin, my deputy.
