Ilkeston's SAS hero remembered in Royal British Legion memorial

An SAS hero seen by millions around the world in iconic TV footage of the Iranian Embassy siege in 1980, has been unmasked 43 years on – ahead of a civic salute which was held in his memory in Ilkeston at the weekend.

Norman Merrill was revealed as an SAS member following his passing last September, and below you can find a video report on the story.
